MCU App

Hi, I'm Kristijan

I built MCU App as a personal project — a place to track every Marvel entry and show across all phases, with a clean interface that actually makes it fun to see how far through the MCU you've come. It started as a weekend experiment and slowly grew into something I'm genuinely proud of.

Where the data lives

Two separate stores, and they never mix. The catalogue — every entry, badge and collection — sits in a Postgres database on Neon and is edited through Payload CMS. The app reads it over the CMS's API, which is why you can browse the whole site without an account.

Anything personal — what you've marked watched, the badges you've earned, your settings — lives in Firestore under your own account and never touches the catalogue database. Deleting your account removes that side and leaves the catalogue untouched.
